This role will focus on delivering exceptional care maximise resident well being. As the face of the facility, building relationships will be crucial to your success. You will be responsible for the effective delivery and management of all aspects of quality Residential Care within the facility. You will enhance the service income with your experience in ACFI, rostering and working within a budgetary guideline. You will ensure that all relevant legislation, policies and procedures are adhered to with regular audits of all areas taking place. You will be well supported by to Clinical Nurse Managers and a General Manager. To be eligible for the role you will have a proven track record in a management level in Aged Care with current Nurse Registration with AHPRA. You will have sound interpersonal and communication skills to ensure that your designated site meets organisational, industry, legislative and professional standards. You will triage clients in emergency situations and provide emergency nursing care to those who are ill and have injury. You will liaise with management and medical services on issues that require monitoring and special support on issues that fall out of your scope of practice. To be considered for the role, you must have current registration with AHPRA. You will have a broad experience in regional nursing and/or accident and emergency nursing. Experience in the formulation and delivery of health packages along with the facilitation of staff development is required. You will have sound understanding and knowledge of different cultural, religious and ethnic issues which will set you apart from other applicants.
