Overview:
Due to rapid advancement in market share, my client requires an entrepreneurial BDM with a proven background in winning new business through selling into EPC's and End Users throughout Melbourne / Victoria territory.
This business has been very successful in selling cables glands & accessories in various markets from Mining / Oil + Gas / Industrial and Water / Waste Water to mention a few industry sectors.
Successful candidate will initially be working from a fully serviced home office. This will best suit a self -starter who will be honest and reliable in delivering repeat business through working a large contact client base. Ideal candidate will have already sold electrical products through EPC's and end users within Melbourne/ Victoria.
You will work proactively with a small sales team of highly motivated technical sales individuals throughout all the different states within Australia with a specific focus on winning new business via tender applications & technical solutions selling to end users within mentioned markets.
Main Duties:
The main aspects of this role is to work with existing customers maximizing any potential revenue streams, seeking out new opportunities, keeping informed on up and coming projects within EPC space and delivering solutions into End Users across various markets.
Responsibilities:
Secure new business selling various Cable Glands/ Applications - into mentioned markets .
An excellent technical background in selling Electrical products into Melbourne / Victoria:
Identify new opportunities in the market place
Reporting to the General Manager, manage client communications and act as a point of contact for all clients within Australia
Experience in preparation of electrical business proposals & tenders
Adhere to new business revenue strategies
Meeting and presenting value proposition to new and existing clients
Key Attributes:
Minimum 5 years relevant electrical product sales selling into various mentioned markets.
Electrical qualification
Ability to hit revenue targets set from the business
A consultative approach to new business sales
Proven record in delivering professional tenders to EPCM's
Superior communication skills (ENGLISH, both written and verbal)
Ability to present at Senior Management / Board level
A desire to build new relationships from the onset
Must have fluent English to a native level as dealing with English speaking clients.
