Contract Role Site Based Local Sydney A leader in their field across design and construction in the power and energy industry. Due to an increase in project workload there is a contract vacancy for a contract HSE Coordinator in Western Sydney.
This role is a site based position. You'll need to have proven experience in carrying out day to day activities such as safety inspections, auditing, contractor compliance, training and injury management and daily prestart meetings and weekly toolbox talks to discuss current safety issues, incidents, industry news and new technologies.
To be considered for this role previous experience on substations or power stations is essential. You will be reviewing SWMS and developing workplace compliance so engaging and promoting a safety culture amongst staff is important whilst also building a good working relationship with contractors. At the very least you must hold a Cert IV in OH&S, a diploma is preferable.

Successful candidates will be an experienced Linesman with Cert III ESI qualifications you will be working across Sydney's 11kV, 33kV, 66kV and 132kV networks. You will be a hard worker, work well in a team , take instructions well and be prepared to work outside the box to make sure the job gets done. You will have a clean MR/MC/HR or HC driver's license and will need all relevant tickets.
This is a permanent position and is based around a 38hr week . There is guaranteed overtime and currently their teams are working 10hr days
