A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably qualified candidate with an honours degree in pharmacy or a health related field to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in pharmacy, commencing Semester 2, 2013.  The project aims to investigate the use of complementary medicines (CMs), including information sources about CMs, by Australian consumers and community pharmacists, and identify strategies to ensure that consumers receive appropriate and accurate information leading to quality use of these complementary medicines.  Applicants should have a particular interest in complementary medicines.  The scholarship is valued at $26,500 p.a. (tax exempt) and may be renewed for up to three years, subject to satisfactory progress.  Applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens.
