Reporting to the Manager – Engineering, the Principal Engineer – Electrical will operate as a member of the Engineering Management Team who develop and implement group objectives. Whilst managing a team of specialists to provide a high level electrical engineering design, site audit and technical support service, the Principal Engineer – Electrical will champion technical guidelines and standards for all electrical aspects of SA Water's water and wastewater infrastructure.
For this position, we are seeking the completion of a degree-level qualification in a relevant Engineering field coupled with extensive experience in the delivery of concept and detailed electrical designs. We also seek extensive experience with providing investigations and solutions of complex engineering issues and auditing of designs that have been created by others. With a focus on customer service and relationship building, a demonstrated ability to manage consultants and contractors, and interface with key stakeholders will also be integral to this role.

The Field Supervisor, in a hands-on capacity leads, inspires and manages the small team to ensure an effective and sustainable operation. Working closely with the General Manager, a key responsibility is to plan the overall growing operation and provide technical support and guidance.
A critical capability in this role is the ability to maintain the optimum outcome of the leafy salad crops. The field Supervisor will manage the production cycle to ensure irrigation scheduling, cultivation methods, spraying and other associated activities are carried out to their usual high standard. This will encompass maintaining paddocks, supervising field rotations, planning sowing, planting and managing harvesting programmes.
The ideal candidate will have post secondary education in Agriculture and Chem-Cert accreditation. Experience in the management of intensive horticulture production, complemented with experience and knowledge in irrigation, agronomy, plant nutrition, and weed control.

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the production of crops in a modern glasshouse, implementing growing programme within the crop cycle including IPM, fertigation and harvest to meet market specifications.
We are seeking candidates with knowledge of hydroponic production principles, an understanding of irrigation, heating and cooling, carbon dioxide enrichment and other plant and equipment used in modern glasshouses would be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will:
• Set up clear and concise growing strategy and nutrition recipes
• Manage the glasshouse environment utilising the PRIVA management system
• Analyse data from the PRIVA management system and recommend growing strategies
• Accurate weekly forecasts (pick predictions)
• Ensure harvesting is in line with chemical withholding period (WHP)
• Manage overall production costs to budget
• Ensure chemical application within the scope of chemical label directions, monitoring for adherence
• Implement and maintain housekeeping in consultation with the Quality Assurance Coordinator
• Plan planting, pullout, and variety selection
• Work with external consultant on general plant maintenance
• Ensure compliance with all OHS&W and Quality policies and procedures
• Planning production and labour requirements
Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and experience in supervising a team. Tertiary qualifications in a discipline relevant to intensive horticulture production complemented by extensive experience within modern glasshouses would be highly regarded.
