Involved in projects from conception through to manufacture and delivery, you'll contribute to the design of MV and LV electrical systems including substations, prefabricated switchrooms and conveyor drive systems. In consultation with the Project Manager and Engineering Manager, you'll take ownership of assigned engineering tasks and where necessary provide technical guidance and support to other team members. Projects will vary in scope and duration and you may work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising work activities accordingly.
Degree or Diploma Qualified, you'll possess sound experience in the design of similar electrical systems for the mining or heavy industrial sector. Familiar with electrical design and mining safety standards, you'll also be committed to continual process improvement and delivering sound engineering solutions.

This role will see you working on a major infrastructure project based in Southeast Queensland. Working predominantly in roads and earthworks this role will also encompass stormwater, drainage and mining projects. You will be expected to be strong technically but also be able to work operationally.
