This role reports to the Manager Risk and Technical Safety Engineering. Detailed Job Description Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Providing safety related input to projects including safety case, process hazard reviews, hazard consequence modelling, process hazard analyses, risk assessment studies, safety system modifications design, reliability modelling, Safety Integrity Level (SIL) determinations, and management of changes related to safety. Promoting technical safety within the project team. Providing safety engineering leadership on a small project or a segment of a larger project. Skills/Qualification To be successful for this role, you would: Have at least a Degree in Chemical Engineering or a background in Instrument & Electrical Engineering within the oil and gas industry is essential. In addition, a Masters Degree in Safety or a Chartered Professional Engineering Certification would be advantageous. Previous project experience related to the analysis of loss prevention as well as fire and gas systems. Excellent communication skills when working with cross functional teams within the office to provide safety related input to projects. A proven track record for leading and managing small to medium size teams would be advantage.
