Fantastic opportunity now exists for an Experienced Inventory Controller/ Purchasing Officer located within Western Sydney, you will be working within a leading national retailer specialising in the home improvement timber industry.
The Opportunity
This role will see you responsible for managing an accurate inventory with regard to products, raw materials and taking into account lead time, across multi retail sites nationally, whilst overseeing local and overseas purchase orders.
You will be responsible for providing customer order reports, inventory across the national branch network and stock movement reports, stock takes and in time understanding market trends.
The Ideal Candidate
Critical to the success of this role, is your previous Inventory Control and Planning skills, purchasing of local and overseas products experience, coupled with your ability to forward plan and provide effective communication to customers, management, suppliers both local and overseas and the manufacturing team.
You will be passionate about process improvement and put in place your Purchasing & Supply, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma skills and qualifications.
