Reporting to the Technical Manager you will offer assistance whilst running trials of products and materials. You will be able to identify orders with special requirements and control and supervise production. You will evaluate, report and control non-conforming product material and identify rework or disposal as required. Providing technical assistance to the purchasing and sales personnel will also be part of your remit and writing quality related reports will also be required.
To be considered for this role you will have a formal qualification in Applied Science, Engineering or appropriate industry experience, you will have ISO 9000 Internal Auditor training (Quality Systems) and a knowledge of paper manufacturing is essential. You will also possess strong knowledge in paper and board testing and requirements of standards.
