Reporting directly to the HR Director, this role has the accountabilities to:
WHS Management, Systems and Reporting Report and maintain Incident Register. Ensure actions are recorded and followed up as required. Review the WHS management system, including standards, policies and procedures and supporting systems, ensuring that all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and standards are met. Ensure that rigorous WHS audits, inspections and investigations are conducted and that appropriate, risk identification, assessment and control measures are in place. Maintain the accreditation of the safety management system WHS Education and Training Engage with management and staff on WHS issues and programs, communicate and promote effective WHS practice. Determine the WHS training needs of the organisation, then establish and co-ordinate the delivery of the WHS training program inconjunction with the HR Director WorkCover Coordinate WorkCover and the Return to Work program. Monitor and analyse WorkCover claims and incident reports and develop appropriate responses, including preventative actions and WHS programs
