We are looking for a Civil Engineering Design professional with ideally a minimum of 5 years work experience or minimum of 10 years international work experience to become an integral part of their Sydney office. THE ROLE: The Engineer's most important task is to develop the most cost-effective formwork, shoring or scaffolding solutions for various kinds of concrete construction projects. These solutions are based on 30 standard product systems that range from straight wall formwork for retaining walls to sophisticated self-climbing systems. Approximately 90% of the work is design using AutoCAD. The balance of your time is spent performing site service on job sites or supporting Sales Engineers with client presentations (self-performing General Contractors and Concrete Subcontractors). THE CANDIDATE: You must be either professionally registered with The Institute of Engineers Australia or eligible for this membership. Prior construction related engineering experience is an asset for this position and previous technical support experience is highly regarded.Essential experience in Formwork is a must for this role.
