Our customer in Chullora is that print a wide range of papers is looking for a person to work as a Printers Assistant. The position will be on a full time basis and you will be part of the printing team. The job is varied and you will doing range of tasks from getting the print plates ready for printing making sure that that all stock levels are up to standard, cleaning the print press and other jobs that are necessary to keep the presses running effectively. This is a day shift position form 6am - 2pm Monday to Friday. You may be required to work shift work and overtime to come absences for staff sick or on leave. To be considered for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate you skills and experience in the following area. Production machine operator experience Good mechanical aptitude Worked with print industry an advantage but not essential Willing to get dirty to clean press parts. Willingness to learn new tasks Able to work safely with cleaning chemicals Good computer skills to operate equipment. Good understanding of Microsoft Excel. Able to work in a small team environment.
