Customer Service Operators - Full Time Betfair, Hobart - Tasmania Betfair is the world's leading online betting exchange. An exciting opportunity has become available with Betfair on a Full Time basis, we are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team based in Hobart as a Customer Service Operator. Reporting to the Team Leader Customer Service, you will be responsible for assisting our customers over the phone and via email with inquiries. Going the extra mile for our customers will be an integral part of this role. Responsibilities for this role include, however will not be limited to: Efficiently and professionally answer calls, emails or web chats from customers Accurately and promptly complete bet placement on the customer?s behalf Undertake the registration and education of new customers Manage and resolve queries raised by other departments and customers within stated Service Level Agreements (SLA's) Provide support to Sales and Marketing teams including, but not limited to, outbound calling and account registrations Undertake set-up and administration of event data for the publication of betting related content. Actively manage and settle live betting markets on racing and sports events. Assist with ensuring team procedures are appropriately documented and accurate Provide support to the Team Leader Customer Service on new projects and processes Process customer transactions across a diverse range of payment methods within stated Service Level Agreements (SLA's) Process and verify customer KYC (Identity Verification) checks across a variety of different methods within stated Service Level Agreements (SLA's) What you need: Ability to work in line with operational requirements ? availability to work Night shift and weekends A passion for customer service and the ability to instill this in others Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivation Be receptive to training in all areas of the contact centre Reliability, with a flexible approach to working and the ability to adapt to new challenges To be a team player What we offer you: A dynamic and fast-paced work environment A supportive and close-knit team Competitive remuneration If you want to be part of the experience that only Betfair can offer, and have the required skills, then please submit your application. Visitor Reception Officer Tasmania's Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment (DPIPWE) are responsible for managing and preserving the diverse natural and cultural heritage of Tasmania. Programmed are currently seeking expressions of interest for exciting upcoming opportunities to join the team at Parks and Wildlife Service for casual and part-time fixed-term positions at the following locations: Freycinet National Park As a Visitor Reception Officer you will be the first point of contact between the public and the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment so you will have outstanding presentation and customer service skills. You will be responsible for collecting park entry fees and checking Parks passes for visitors to the National Parks, as well as providing advice and information to visitors to the Parks. As a part of this role you will also be required to maintain some of the Park's public facilities. To be successful in this role you will possess: Outstanding communication skills A knowledge of National Parks recreational uses and threats posed by visitors Previous experience in a busy customer service and handling public money A high attention to detail The ability to work autonomously and exercise initiative A current motor vehicle drivers licence These positions will be based on a roster system and hours will ramp up over the peak season. It will be essential to be available on both Saturday, Sunday as well as Public Holidays. You will be responsible for traveling to and from the work site locations.
