· Schedules of condition
· Mentoring the more junior members of your team and the delegation of work
· Carrying out surveys
· Undertaking setting out for the construction of assets
· Conducting the collection, analysis and presentation of survey data
· Assisting in team business development plans
· Providing assistance with GIS and survey information
You should be able to identify with the following skills:
· Degree in Building Surveying
· Ideally MRICS, but must have full membership of AIBS as you will be required to sign-off works
· Excellent communication and time management skills
· Excellent technical skills
· Excellent working knowledge of Australian Building Control

Due to the impending retirement of a senior member of staff, they are actively seeking an experienced and motivated Accredited Certifier / Building Code Consultant to effectively and efficiently work on projects in ACT & NSW.
In this position, you will be employed on a full time, permanent basis and responsible for the implementation of all facets of building code consulting and certification in accordance with relevant legislation. The role includes assessment and processing of approvals of all types of work.
To be considered for this position you MUST possess:
* Minimum 5-7 years' experience as a Building Regulations Consultant, Accredited Certifier.
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and Accredited Certifier to A1 level.
* Extensive knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Standards.
* Highly effective communication skills.
* The ability to work within a highly motivated team of consultants.
* Experience with projects incorporating BCA Alternative Solutions is preferred.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Membership or eligibility for membership with AIBS is desirable.
* Membership with RICS in the case of a Building Control applicant.
* Working knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
* Full & Clean Driving Licence.
* Eligibility to work in Australia so must be Australian Citizens or be a Permanent Resident.
