Reporting to the NSW/ACT Sales Manager who is based in NSW you will based out on the road covering the Canberra and Snow Fields area. Working autonomously your key responsibility will be to drive all new business and manage existing accounts in both the Retail and On Premise channels. Key areas of responsibilities: Prospecting clients and developing new business Developing quotes for customers and selling products within price guidelines Compiling reports as required by the State Sales Manager Competitor activity analysis Customer service of existing client base Identifying promotional opportunities and maximising exposure Conducting wine tastings, merchandising and stock control To be successful in this role you will have a passion for fine wine sales and experience in achieving targets. You will have a positive attitude and be a self starter with excellent communication skills to build and grow the business. It is also essential that you understand the role of a wholesaler as the majority of all sales are turned in through a local wholesaler. We are seeking a skilled APS5 Officer to implement a new regulatory framework resulting from major policy reform. This role joins a dedicated team newly established to review the policy as it is implemented and help guide industry stakeholders through the new regulatory system.
