Project Manager Permanent position Canberra based Immediate start

Our client is seeking a Project Manager for a permanent position located in Canberra, whose primary responsibility will be to provide high quality implementation services to clients.Our client is renowned for providing project installations, programming, maintenance and support of sophisticated integration projects as well as dealing extensively with architects, trades and builders on their AV and VC fit-out projects. The Project Manager position plays a pivotal role in the delivery of effective and efficient project management services for our client.
Successful Candidates will possess:
•Demonstrated project management ability with particular emphasis on time to delivery and project budget management •Client focused with demonstrated interpersonal skills with an ability to build effective relationships with co-workers, team members and clients •Strong communication skills both written and verbal •Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Project or equivalent scheduling tools •Demonstrated commitment to our client's company values •Demonstrated ability to lead the team responsible for meeting tight deadlines, balancing competing priorities and responding to client needs •Knowledge and understanding of WHS work practices relevant to the ICT and Audiovisual industry including all relevant reporting obligations.
A Diploma in Project Management or equivalent knowledge/experience would be an advantage.
