Position of Community Midwife for the Aboriginal Maternal and Infant Health Strategy (AMIHS) in Queanbeyan. Position is based at Queanbeyan Hospital and incumbent will work in partnership with the Aboriginal Health Education Officer for the AMIHS program to provide clinical services and social and emotional support and advocacy to Aboriginal mothers and their families. The midwife is also expected to work in partnership with internal and external service providers in relation to client service delivery as well as provide education and development to clients and internal staff.   This is a Permanent Part-time position, working 16 hours per week and classified as Registered Midwife.
