This role is available to qualified Building Surveyors with a minimum of 3-8years experience within the public or private sectors. You could be an intermediate surveyor with a min 3 years experience, looking to take the next step in your career or an established senior surveyor with 8+ years in the profession.
The company are a boutique consultancy who have a very strong foothold in the Surveying market, and are now looking to expand - This role will allow you to work alongside a prominent figure in ACT surveying and afford you a very interesting role looking after major and varied projects.
Remit will include, but not restricted to the following:
· Technical due diligence
· Make good reports / negotiations
· Planned preventative maintenance programs
· Schedules of condition
· Mentoring the more junior members of your team and the delegation of work
· Carrying out surveys
· Undertaking setting out for the construction of assets
· Conducting the collection, analysis and presentation of survey data
· Assisting in team business development plans
· Providing assistance with GIS and survey information
You should be able to identify with the following skills:
· Degree in Building Surveying
· Ideally MRICS, but must have full membership of AIBS as you will be required to sign-off works
· Excellent communication and time management skills
· Excellent technical skills
· Excellent working knowledge of Australian Building Control
