This organisation has developed new technology to allow for the bulk rapid manufacture of plaster based walls which are exported to NSW to be used for the construction of multi storey buidlings. Due to a number of recent contract wins, a position has become available for a motivated and organised Factory and Maintenance Manager to join their team. Reporting through to the Managing Director in Sydney, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the plant, ensuring that daily task sheets are completed and production scheduled in accordance with customer demands. In this role you will have hands on responsibility for the management of a small team of 5-6 staff, ensuring that operations are at 100% capacity. As a people manager you will ensure full deployment of available resources in the production process and will be the go to person for any queries. In relation to Maintenance you will ensure that all equipment is maintained to full production standard, with scheduled maintenance maintained and any issues identified, documented and reported to management. The requirements of the role will mean that you will have had previous experience within a maintenance management role, ideally with fitter/turner capabilities. The operational responsibilities of this role will require you to have a sound working knowledge of microsoft office suite. You will have excellent time management and delegation skills , you will have a cool head under pressure and be able to effective manage competing priorities.
