Paris, Lindsay and Britney kill Aussies' A-list aspirations

Spiralling out of control Hollywood ‘It Girls’ have ruined the aspirations of Australians coveting the glamorous life of celebrity with 79% of the 2060 people surveyed now detesting the idea of leading a celebrity lifestyle according to a just–released poll conducted by leading career building and networking site LinkMe.com.au.

The modern Hollywood Rat Pack has damaged the appeal of being a part of this elite circle despite the free designer clothes, personal assistants, private jets and lavish mansions which made it so appealing once upon a time.

CEO of LinkMe Pty Ltd Campbell Sallabank says: “Above all else Australians value their personal and professional integrity, so the constant flood of paparazzi images showing celebrities being drunk, imprisoned, not wearing underwear or driving under the influence has tarnished the Hollywood mystique.

“Australia’s hard–working nature with regards to achieving well paid jobs was reiterated with 81 per cent of those respondents still wishing to be a celebrity expressing money as the most attractive attribute of following a Tinsel Town dream.

“Australia currently has the world’s most egalitarian booming economy which is allowing employees an exciting opportunity to succeed. Workers should make the most of these prosperous times by acting professionally in the workplace.”
