LinkMe passes 100,000 members

Career building and networking website LinkMe.com.au today announced that it has in excess of 100,000 members.

CEO of LinkMe Campbell Sallabank says: “LinkMe went out on a limb two years ago to change the online recruitment paradigm away from the traditional job board to a meshing of social networking and advanced resume search. Our accelerating membership is a clear indication that our strategies are starting to work.

LinkMe also has over 7,000 subscribed individual employers and recruiters searching the site to source candidates which includes over a third of Australia’s recruitment industry.

“Our value proposition to employers and recruiters is simple: ‘LinkMe provides direct access to candidates not found on the traditional job boards’.

“Our members are joining in increasing numbers because we actively promote them, expose them to hidden opportunities and help them harness the potential within the people they know to help their career.”

This service means the possibility of being headhunted is accessible for every level of employee, not just the top end. Candidates are from a variety of industries and salary ranges with sales, IT&T, technology, administration, retail and accounting being areas of particular strength.

“We now have an organisation backed by the power and experience of Telstra and Morgan & Banks Investments which has the potential to change 100’s of thousands of lives by getting people into a job they love. There are very few organizations that have the potential to positively impact so many people so profoundly. We are really excited and driven by this.”
